Last week the big run arrived and water heights perfect and fish everywhere and along came the bugs. It has been hot but got a bit colder the last 2 days and bugs are almost gone. The weak had up to 28c –  in the shadow – and water temperature from 11 to 17C, despite the warm conditions Grand Varzuga has produced over 270 Salmon. The week continued to produce big numbers of  big fish between  14-19 Lbs.
Its a true bonanza time now and todays fishing plus 3 hours yesterday has already produced 100 Salmon. Philip Bowden Smith – Top Rod – caught 20 today, what a day:) Floating line and Cascade, Cascade and Cascade is the winning formular. Plenty of water and fishable everywhere and we could easily have fished for 2 more weeks as it looks like now, but thats fishing in a nutshell.

 Stay tuned for more reports.
