Spring will be here soon as we are preparing for the new season. Steffen is off to Dee in a few weeks, and both of us look forward to return to our second homes – the Umba and Ponoi.
You can join us, as we still have a few availabilities.
Dee – Early love for springers?
As you may know, we have been offered some of the finest fishing for Springers in Scotland March 20 – 27 and March 27 – April 3 on the River Dee. Upper Blackhall is a very unique place and perhaps the most beautiful, classic and peaceful beats on the River Dee. You and 2 fellow anglers will have full exclusivity for the entire week.
We have a few rods for March 20-27
Umba – Ready for a long time love affair?
Few salmon rivers on the Kola Peninsula, or in the world for that matter, have had such a spellbinding and deeply felt effect on Salmon anglers from all over the world. For many of them it has almost become a lifelong love affair and you may witness hardened and weather-beaten anglers become all “mushy”, when they reflect and talk about Umba. Such is the character of this river and there are really very few places left in this world like it.
We have a few available rods in the prime June and August weeks. Prices from 2750 Euro to 3100 Euro
Ponoi – are you in for the numbers?
Acha camp is our core program on the Ponoi, situated just upstream the well known Ryabaga-stretch with camp at the junction where Acha River enters the Ponoi. Fishing the beautiful lower pools in Acha River is included in this program. The fishing at Acha camp is very reliable and in June/July we average approx 30 salmon per rod after 6 1/2 days fishing. Roughly 42% of these fish have been MSW up to 24 lbs. Salmon Junkies runs two different programs on the Ponoi, and these range from luxury camps to wildlife-salmon expeditions – all guarantee you an unforgettable fishing adventure!
We have the following openings:
Ponoi Acha camp:
18/6 – 25/6 – One rod available
Ponoi Acha river Explore:
11/6 – 18/6 – Two rods available
Ponoi will never let you down.
Please contact Steffen for availabilities and prices.
