The final week of the season! The last two days yielded some very nice and fresh autumn whoppers – the biggest salmon was a stunningly fresh salmon of 27 lbs. caught by Pasi, who caught another two salmon of 14 and 16 lbs. Johan Abelsson landed two fish of 21 and 15 pounds. Furthermore a 21 pounder was landed and 4 salmon between 16 and 18 pounds. The weather was marked by a high pressure system with a lot of sun all day making fishing difficult, but we still had a great ending week with numerous fantastic autumn salmon for the group. All in all we have had a great season in Umba. The newly implemented river inspection system is clearly working and results are now showing. Hope to see you all again next year!
