I will be leaving for Russia tomorrow 26th May. I plan to stay in Murmansk a couple of days in order to finalise the last details for the up coming season in Ponoi. From the 30th May I will travel to Umba to set up the camp and meet the staff in wonderful Umba.
I will be available from time to time on my cell phone, but if you have any questions, I will kindly ask you to direct them to the office, where Anne Mette am@salmonjunkies.com and Kåre Lundquist kl@salmonjunkies.com will help you if needed.
The upcoming salmon season in Russia is happily just a short Spey cast away – Both Ponoi and Umba rivers are dropping right now, and the overall conditions look great.
More than 400Kg of equipment have already been shipped to Russia, and I feel confidence that we are ready for a new wonderful season. For all the many Salmon Junkies travelling with us to Russia in 2010, I want to say that I really look forward to meeting all of you wonderful guys again – Good old friends as well as newcomers. I can assure you, that we at salmon Junkies will do our best to provide you with an unforgettable and wonderful fishing trip.
Salmon Junkies will of course keep our web page updated with reports and news on the season in Ponoi and Umba, so please stay tuned during the entire season on www.salmonjunkies.com <http://www.salmonjunkies.com/> for news from Salmon Heaven
See you soon
